There are rare and not so rare beautiful varieties of exotic birds. The Jurong Bird Park is not so well known since a lot of people go bird watching but be honest, its always difficult to spot all the is small colorful beauties, so the people are not really after it, but at the bird park in Singapore you can really see the birds just a few meters away in their semi natural environ. Aside from the parrots also hawks, falcons, different wading birds, crane birds and some rather simple birds such as ducks are around at the park plus egrets, owls, warblers, wrens and swallows to mention only a few, the majority are parrots of various kinds and they are real beauties with incredible colors. The Jurong Bird Park is open every day but certain parts close early and are open only from time to time why? Since the entrance prices are quite high and the visitor pays 100% means also the program and visibility should be 100%, he we are not in Thailand where they sleep most of the time. This tropical bird park and the aviary is located in a patch of real old jungle and offers spectacular views.

Walking the most scenic route could be substituted by a ride in the monorail which follow the paved road but the real thing is naturally via a walk which offers some stunning views of the island. There are gardens, waterfalls and lakes, many species of birds including flamingos, cranes, hornbills, toucans, cockatoos, macaws, pheasants, ibis, ducks, pigeons, doves and hundreds variants of them. Mandarin and Carolina ducks can be watched through a window stretching above and under the 

others its simply beautiful nature, at the bird park pink flamingos and other waders plus tropical parrots show stunning tropical colors. There are very small birds such as a finch and all the way up to the huge vulture of the Andes and elsewhere.
